Beijing to hold 8th Asia drone tech fair in June, times 1,000 new releases

  • The fair began in 2015 and is designed to spotlight innovations and applications in the field of drone and other types of unmanned aircraft like eVTOL.

Some 1,000 new products are set for release at the Eighth Asia Drone Industry Exhibition on June 28–30 in Beijing, showcasing the latest developments by players from the Asia-Pacific region.

The event, which is organized by China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and China Electronic Information Industry Federation, is expected to gather more than 200 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors under one roof in a suburb of China’s capital.

Beijing Yichuang International Convention Center in the suburb of Daxing, about half an hour away from the downtown by car, is chosen as the venue of the drone fair.

Exhibitors come from a diverse background, including industrial drone, consumer-grade drone, drone parts, mounts, materials and aerial communication technology, among others.
